Shade Tree Farms is a woman-owned small business located in the mountains of Western North Carolina. Founded and operated by Laura Craig, Shade Tree Farms has been creating handcrafted bath and body products for the past 14 years.

Laura’s journey began through her own struggles with psoriasis and the challenges family members faced with eczema. Wanting simple, natural products made with quality ingredients, she began developing her own recipes. Every product offered by Shade Tree Farms is personally formulated and created by Laura—no copied recipes, just years of research, testing, and experience.

Working from her home workshop, Laura handcrafts goat milk soaps, lotions, lip balms, salves, body mists, and other personal care products in small batches. Inspired by the belief that some of the best things in life are still done simply and naturally, Shade Tree Farms embraces traditional methods and wholesome ingredients.

Laura takes great pride not only in the quality of her products, but also in providing exceptional customer service. Her goal is to create products that nourish the skin, bring comfort, and turn everyday routines into special moments.
